The 6th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 221 Brigade under the 22 Division in the SFHQ-East organized the seminar.

Lectures were conducted by qualifies teachers in maths, science and english language under the supervision of education department officials. 247 students attended the seminar.

Troops conduct such programmes under their community welfare initiative to assist the resettled community in the North and East. Educational seminars are conducted aiming to assist the children who will be facing public exams especially the grade five scholarship exam and GCE O/L and A/L exams.
