Government has allocate Rs.1 billion to develop the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
According to the Ministry of Health sources, arrangements are in place to provide a Rs.100 million worth MRI scanner and CT scanner for the hospital.
Meanwhile, around 60 staff members attached to the Health Ministry visited Jaffna by train to participate in a mobile service organised by the Health Ministry at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
