The letters will be handed over by the Minister of Health, Nutrition, and Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senarathne. Deputy Minister Faisal Cassim, and the Secretary to the Ministry Anura Jayawickrme, and the Director General of Health Services Dr. Palitha Mahipala will also be present.

According to the Health Ministry, the new appointments are made by the Ministry ensuring the government's policy of extending a quality health service up to the grass root level throughout the country.
