Minister of Housing and Construction Sajith Premadasa recently laid the foundation stone for the 60th Udagama in Hambantota District.
The new project implemented in Kaaliyapura, Sethrajagama will benefit 15 families in the area where each family receives a land of 10 perches.
According to Minister Premadasa, 500 houses will be constructed even in 2017 for the poor people by his ministry and thereby to fulfill President and Prime Minister’s aspiration to eliminate poverty from the country within next year.
