Compensations will be granted for 39 families of deceased and disabled migrant workers this week in Colombo.
Accordingly, approximately Rs. 68 million in compensation and other dues will be granted in cheques to these families by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera and Minister of Foreign Employment Thalatha Athukorale on Tuesday (20th Dec.) at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Recipients of awards will be present with their family members.
