Troops managed to douse the wild fire within a couple of hours. More than 25 troops on the instructions of Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces – Central (SF-Cen) took part in the operation.

A sudden fire that broke out near Diyaluma area in the Haldummulla Divisional Secretariat in the Baddulla District was brought to the notice of the troops of the 5 Gemunu Watch (GW) of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-Cen) on Friday (1st).
