Steering Committee of the Constitutional Assembly met in the Parliament yesterday and decided to commence Sub Committee Meetings from next week and also to extend the deadline for receiving written representations up to 31st May 2016.
Chairpersons of the Subcommittees who were present for this meeting held yesterday morning at the Parliamentary complex were explained their responsibilities and the roles in respective capacities.
The deadlines were set to 31stJuly 2016 for the Subcommittees to file their reports during the meeting.
It was also decided to invite the registered political parties and professional organizations also to make representations in the meetings. (AH)
