President declare opens the New Provincial Council building in Kuchchaveli ^Featured

The newly constructed 2-storey Kuchchaweli Provincial Council building was declared open by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Wednesday (29).

The new Provincial Council building complex built at a cost of 30 million rupees consists of an Administrative Complex, an Auditorium and a hall.

The President after unveiling the plaque inspected the building complex and exchanged pleasantries with the crowd who were present to witness the opening.

Deputy Ministers Susantha Punchinilame, M.K.D.S.Gunawardena, Eastern Province Governor Mohan Jayawickrema, Chief Minister Abdul Najid Majeed, Eastern Provincial Council Chairman Ariyawathi Galappatti, Chairman of Kuchchaweli Provincial Council T.L.P.Mubarak were present on the occasion. (KH)
