Speaking during the event President Maithripala Sirisena emphasised on the importance of developing domestic products in order to strengthen the export sector. He pointed out that to achieve this target the private sector should be strengthened much more than the public sector. He also noted that the foreign market has had taken over our markets as well and therefore to compete with  this situation the government will have to take policy decisions accordingly
