The student delegation visited Sri Lanka under Pakistan-Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Programme arranged by Ministry of National Policy & Economic Affairs and National Youth Services Council of Sri Lanka from October 4-11, 2016.

While, briefing the delegation about Pakistan-Sri Lanka relation, the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Maj. Gen. (R) Syed Shakeel Hussain highlighted that the two countries continue to enjoy excellent relations and there is a strong will on both sides to further develop and strengthen these relations.

 
H.E. Shakeel Hussain emphasized that such visits are an excellent way to further improving the understanding and friendship between the two nations. He expressed hope that the visit would add value to the already strong bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

 
He further added that more frequent people-to-people contacts through enhanced student and faculty exchanges between learning institutions of the two countries would further promote this relationship. He assured that the High Commission would continue to patronize and support such initiatives.
