A delegation from the U.S. Space Forces Pacific (SPACEPAC) and the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka, led by Lieutenant Colonel Shumpei Fujimura, Head of Security Cooperation for SPACEPAC, visited the Southern Naval Command Headquarters today (21) and called on Deputy Area Commander of the Southern Naval Area, Commodore Aruna Weerasinghe.
The meeting focused on enhancing space domain awareness, strengthening military ties and discussing matters of mutual interest.
The cordial meeting concluded with an exchange of mementoes, marking the significance of the occasion.
