Seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), signed across several sectors between the Maldives and Sri Lanka, were formally exchanged this morning (04) at the Presidential Secretariat in the presence of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives.
The official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Maldives, His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu, who arrived in Sri Lanka on a State Visit at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, was held this morning (04) at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of President Dissanayake.

At the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Muizzu arrived in Sri Lanka this afternoon (03), commencing a two-day state visit.
Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), visited the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) Headquarters in Mirissa and the Lifesaving Training School in Balapitiyarecently.
Russian Federation Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko, along with a delegation, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (03) for a three-day official visit.
