President Maithripala Sirisena has paid his attention to provide solutions for several issues faced by police officers.
Accordingly, the President has given instructions to the Police Commission to follow a proper methodology on the promotions of the police officers and to start a rapid program to fill the vacancies from lower ranks to higher ranks.
The President emphasize that action should be taken without any delay to solve these problems to provide a more efficient and quality service to the people.
