The new Public Fair situated in a one acre land in Attidya, comprises 100 trade stalls. The trade stalls will sell meat, fish, and vegetables thus bringing benefit to consumers as well as farmers.

Minister of Urban Development Water Supply & Drainage Rauff Hakeem said that the new government will carry forward such development projects that were initiated by former Secretary Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The Minister while thanking Gotabaya Rajapaksa for initiating such projects that are beneficial to the people also expressed his gratitude to the military personnel for their invaluable contribution towards post-war development projects in the country.

The building complex constructed at a cost of Rs.59 million under the guidance of the Ministry of Urban Development Water Supply & Drainage and the Urban Development Authority is equipped with a vehicle park, sanitary facilities, a drainage system and other modern facilities.
