    Distribution of motorcycles to Matara District Public Servants takes place

    President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Wednesday (05) distributed motorcycles to 1050 field officers in the Public Service in the Matara District at the Uyanwatte grounds.

     

    The UPFA government in the 2015 budget proposed to provide motorcycles to the field officials in the Public Service including the Police and Teachers. The pledge given to the relevant services by President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the 2015 budget. came into realization with the distribution of motorcycles on Wednesday

     

    Ministers Dullas Alahapperuma, Chandrasiri Gajadheera, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Lakshaman Yapa Abeywardena and Deputy Minister Sanath Jayasuriya, Matara District Secretary E.S.C.Vidanagamachchi were also present. (KH)
