    Sri Lanka offered Test debut to Milinda Siriwardana

    Sri Lanka today (14) in the first Test vs West Indies at international stadium in Galle offered a Test debut to a left-handed middle-order batsman Milinda Siriwardana.

    Siriwardana, now in age 29 played an unbeaten century for Board President's XI in a three day match against the tourists that ended on Sunday. He replaced Upul Tharanga in the eleven that played against India in the third Test at the SSC. Today Siriwardana will bat at 6th.



    Kaushal Silva, Dimuth Karunaratne, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dinesh Chandimal,, Milinda Siriwardena, Kusal Perera (wk), Dhammika Prasad, Tharindu Kaushal, Rangana Herath, Nuwan Pradeep are listed for Sri Lanka under the skipper Angelo Mathews while West Indies come with the new test skipper Jason Holder.
