This was stated by ICCBS Director Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry while talking to a delegation of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Sri Lanka in a meeting held on Sunday.
KDU team was headed by Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris and comprised Director Prof. Roshan Perera and Dean of Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies Colonel Chandana Wickramasinghe. Dr. Chaudhry said that Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman would guide the KDU in creating the world class research centre namely Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) Centre for Advance Research (CARE).
Milinda Peiris appreciated the warm welcome by Pakistani friends at the University of Karachi and said that the KDU needed ICCBS support for creating world class institute in the campus.
