Professor V. Balaji, an eminent Indian violinist of Varanasi University, accepting an invitation called on President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s Official Residence today (22nd June).
The invitation has been extended by the President Sirisena according to a request made by the Prof. V. Balaji to perform before the President Sirisena, during the State Music Awards Ceremony yesterday (21st June),where he participated as a special guest.
Prof. V. Balaji was accompanied by his wife and son.
Subsequent to the cordial discussion with the President, Prof Balaji and his son Ananth Raman performed the violin in front of the President Sirisena.
