    Steps to develop infrastructure facilities in universities Featured

    Ministry of Higher Education and Highways has taken steps to implement nine development projects to improve infrastructure facilities of universities of Kelaniya, Visual and Performing Arts, Moratuwa, Raja Rata, Sri Jayewardenapura and Colombo within the period of 2016-2019 with an investment of Rs.1,706.9 million.

    It is an essential need to improve infrastructures of higher educational institutions to create professional and skilled graduates to suit development needs of the country’s economy and the international job market.


    Accordingly, the proposal made by Minister of Higher Education and Highways Lakshman Kiriella, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
