Attending the inauguration of the National Dialogue on Forming a National Policy for Elders at BMICH yesterday (20th June) added that the condition of most of the elders’ homes in the country are “like hell”.

According to the Minister after assuming duties he has made arrangements enabling the elders to receive their monthly allowances by staying at home rather coming to collect it at high expense. “We have deducted Rs.100/- from their monthly allowance to make this facility a reality,” he added.
