The Education Ministry will take measures to introduce new regulations to ban teachers from holding extra tuition classes for students during school hours.
According to the Education Ministry teachers will be prohibited to hold classes between the school hours from 7.30 am and 1.30 pm.
The Ministry will be considering whether to stop tuition classes during school hours or seek for an alternate solution.
The training programmes will be conducted nationally for principals and teachers in collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE) to improve the standard of education, the Ministry added.
