The low pressure area has intensified in to depression and located about 300 km to the east of Jaffna (near 10.1N and 83.8E). As such, showery and windy conditions are expected to continue over the Eastern and Northern sea areas. The above sea areas will be rough and dangerous, The Met Dept. said today.
