The government has taken steps to conduct regular raids on beauty parlours due to the increasing complaints regarding sub-standard and unauthorised products .
The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) together with the Cosmetics Devices and Drugs Regulatory Authority (CDDRA) are conducting these regular raids and action will be taken to close businesses and cancel licence of those operating without (CDDRA) licences.(ST/KH)
