This was stated in a report tabled by the Samurdhi Authority on the progress of community development in the Kurunegala district.
According to the report, at least one project was carried out in each of the 84 Grama Nildhari divisions.

Under the ‘Gami Pubuduwa’ program 84 small scale projects were completed in Wayamba at the cost of Rs. 1,940,000. The programs were on building and renovating rural roads, irrigation canals, wells and small tanks.
