Following corporate, individual donations and direct deposits, ‘ITUKAMA’ COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund balance has now surpassed Rs. 1491 million.

The Army Headquarters at Sri Jayawardenepura in a fitting formal ceremony July (14) bade farewell to the retiring Navy Commander, Admiral Piyal de Silva when he arrived there to pay courtesies to the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva on the eve of his retirement.

Twenty two(22) inmates who were undergoing quarantine period in Naval quarantine centers at Boossa Naval Base and at Kalpitiya area, left the centers after completion of their quarantine process, on 13th and 14th July 2020.
