Oceanographic Research Vessel of Chinese Navy, ‘Quan Sanqiang’ arrived at the Port of Colombo for a replenishment and technical halt last morning (1st Feb.).
The Commanding Officer of ‘Quan Sanqiang’ Lieutenant Commander Yang Haitao paid a courtesy call on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle at the Western Naval Command Headquarters and held cordial discussions. Mementoes were also exchanged.
The ship is scheduled to stay in Sri Lanka until 6th of this month.
