President Maithripala Sirisena had accepted an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit China and the tour will take place soon.
According to Skills Development and Vocational Training Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe the proposed visit will help further boost relations between the two countries.
President Sirisena made his first state visit to China in late March last year, three months after assuming office and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe too concluded a successful visit to Beijing in April this year.
