The District Development Committee Meeting of the Kurunegala District was held today (04) at the Kadyan Reach Hotel in Kurunegala under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The meeting was held to review the progress of the development programmes that are being carried out as at present as well as development programmes to be implemented in the future in the Kurunegala District.
The President speaking about educational matters in the Kurunegala and Puttalam Districts said that Wayamba District has got a good Education Minister and he will take care of all educational matters in the district. The President said that he has confidence in him.(KH)
