President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic on Friday (10).
Thereafter he paid a courtesy call on the Chief Prelates of Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters and obtained their blessings.
The President also exchanged pleasantries with the large number of devotees present at the Sri Dalada Maligawa for religious observances. (KH)
