    President Rajapaksa will record a resounding victory - SLFP

    A media briefing was convened on Saturday evening at the SLFP Party headquarters with the participation of the new SLFP General Secretary, Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and several other senior Ministers.

    The SLFP at this briefing stated that the exit of the General Secretary will have no impact on the vote bank or the Victory of the President.

     

    New SLFP General Secretary, Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa stated that those who quit the party gave prominence to personal matters rather than policies.

     

    Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva and Minister Susil Premajayantha said conspiracies and assassinations are nothing new to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party but it cannot hamper the party’s progressive forward march, They said that it is regretful that former General Secretary of the SLFP has being part of the foreign conspiracy.

     

    Minister Dallas Allahapperuma addressing the briefing issued a warning to foreign ambassadors who are intervening in internal affair.
